June 15, 2009. Houston Leones suffer but tie against Laredo 1-1 in a dramatic game on Saturday. In a hot day on Saturday, Houston Leones tried to wake up and add points and reach the leader teams of the Southern Conference.

Houston Leones start getting control of the ball and dominating the game but just before the half time ended at 37’ Laredo scored in a mistake of the  Houston Leones defense line. Started the second hald, Leones tried to tie the game with shots that didn’t ended in the goal. But just at 73’, Vicenzo Cox recover the ball and lead the re-attack of Houston and he finished it with a tremendous shot that ended in the goal defended by Ryan Cooper.

Finally, the game ended with a tie and again with a bad arbitration of referees. Now, Houston Leones will play away against El Paso this Friday and Saturday June 19 and 20 to later play away against Dallas on  June 27. GOOD LUCK AND GO LEONES!
